One Last Class… For Now 🐓✨

Hey y’all,

If you’ve been watching what we’ve been building over here at 1737, then you already know… these chicken processing classes have been more than just classes. They’ve been experiencing. They’ve been community. They’ve been real, hands-on, “this is how you feed your family” kind of moments.

And whew… what a ride it’s been.

From the very first class where folks came in a little nervous (and rightfully so), to watching past students come back and confidently process birds like they’ve been doing this all their lives… baby, the growth has been something special.

But for now… we’re wrapping this chapter.

👉🏾 Our FINAL chicken processing class (for now) will be held on June 6th at the homestead.

Why This Class Matters

Let me be real with you.

There is something powerful about knowing exactly where your food comes from… and even more powerful about being able to do it yourself.

This isn’t just about chickens.

It’s about:

• Reconnecting to your food
• Learning a skill that most people have lost
• Building confidence in ways you didn’t expect
• And stepping just a little closer to self-sustainability

We don’t sugarcoat it, and we don’t rush it. You’re going to learn, you’re going to participate, and yes… you’re going to leave different than you came.

What to Expect

• Get hands-on experience (not just watching 👀)

And of course… you’ll be surrounded by good people, good energy, and that 1737 kind of love.

Why “One Last Class”?

Life on the homestead moves in seasons.

Right now, we’re shifting focus into other areas we’ve been building, expanding, growing, and pouring into new parts of the vision. That means pressing pause on these classes for a bit.
